Respiratory syncytial viruses (RSV) cause severe colds, bronchiolitis and pneumonia during the winter. The Federal Office of Public Health recommends that all people aged 75 and over, as well as those aged 60 and over with certain risk factors, have an annual RSV vaccination between mid-October and mid-November. The vaccination is also recommended as a one-off during pregnancy for women due to give birth between October and March, as an alternative to active immunisation of the newborn. We vaccinate people aged 18 and over with the Abrysvo vaccine.

Cost flu vaccination: 259.70 CHF

Duration: 15 minutes

Appointment Cancellation Policy

Booked vaccination appointments are generally binding, and the agreed time slot is reserved for you. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so that we can rebook the slot. If you cancel your appointment at short notice, we reserve the right to charge a fee of CHF 50. If you fail to cancel your appointment, we will charge you for the cost of the vaccine, as it has been prepared specifically for you and must be disposed of if you do not attend. The latter also applies if you cancel your appointment more than 24 hours in advance, as we order the vaccine specifically for you and cannot reuse it.

Information on coverage by health insurance

For pregnant women: If you have a prescription for the vaccination, we can bill the cost of the vaccine through your compulsory health insurance. Alternatively, you can send the receipt to your health insurance provider yourself. In both cases, the patient contribution for the vaccination service is CHF 25. The cost of the vaccination service is also covered by some supplementary insurance policies. The vaccination is covered only once during one pregnancy.

For people aged 65 and over with risk factors or people aged 75 and over: The vaccination is not reimbursed by compulsory health insurance.
