If you have a prescription for the vaccine, we can bill your mandatory health insurance provider for the vaccine. Alternatively, you can send the receipt to your health insurance provider yourself. In both cases, the co-payment for the vaccination service is CHF 25. The costs for the vaccination service are covered by some supplementary insurance policies.

Diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis-/poliomyelitis vaccination
PROTECTION AGAINST DIPHTHERIA, TETANUS, WHOOPING COUGH, AND/OR POLIO
The vaccines against tetanus, diphtheria, polio, and whooping cough (pertussis) are only available as combination vaccines. The Federal Office of Public Health recommends these vaccinations for everyone. Periodic booster shots are required for tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough: The Federal Office of Public Health recommends booster shots every 20 years between the ages of 15 and 64 and every 10 years from the age of 65. A booster shot against whooping cough is particularly recommended for pregnant women in their second trimester and people who are in regular contact with infants under six months of age. A booster vaccination against polio is only necessary for people who are staying in countries where polio is still present and whose last vaccination was more than 20 years ago (or more than one year ago in certain countries). As we do not always have the vaccines in stock, we ask you to make an appointment.

- Appointment Cancellation Policy
Booked vaccination appointments are generally binding, and the agreed time slot is reserved for you. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so that we can rebook the slot. If you cancel your appointment at short notice, we reserve the right to charge a fee of CHF 50. If you fail to cancel your appointment, we will charge you for the cost of the vaccine, as it has been prepared specifically for you and must be disposed of if you do not attend. The latter also applies if you cancel your appointment more than 24 hours in advance, as we order the vaccine specifically for you and cannot reuse it.
