For people aged 75 and over, as well as people aged 65 and over with certain risk factors (see Swiss vaccination schedule), we can bill the vaccine through the mandatory health insurance if you present a prescription for the vaccination. Alternatively, you can send the receipt to your health insurance company yourself. In both cases, the co-payment for the vaccination service is CHF 25. The costs for the vaccination service are covered by some supplementary insurance policies.

The high-dose flu vaccine is an effective measure to protect yourself and others from influenza and its complications. The Federal Office of Public Health recommends it for all persons aged 75 and over, as well as persons aged 65 and over with certain risk factors. For younger people, the regular flu vaccine is recommended. The optimal time for vaccination is between mid-October and the start of the flu season. We vaccinate people aged 65 and over with the high-dose flu vaccine Efluelda. It can be administered at the same time as the COVID-19 vaccine.
