If you have a prescription for the vaccine, we can bill your mandatory health insurance provider for the vaccine. Alternatively, you can send the receipt to your health insurance provider yourself. In both cases, the co-payment for the vaccination service is CHF 25. The costs for the vaccination service are covered by some supplementary insurance policies.

Tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) is transmitted by ticks and can lead to severe inflammation of the brain and meninges. The whole of Switzerland, with the exception of the canton of Ticino, is considered a TBE risk area. The Federal Office of Public Health recommends that all persons in Switzerland who spend time outdoors get vaccinated against TBE. At our pharmacy, we offer expert advice and the opportunity to get vaccinated quickly and easily. The basic immunisation consists of three doses, which provide protection for 10 years. The ideal time for TBE vaccination is in winter, so that you are protected at the start of the tick season in spring. However, vaccination is also possible at other times of the year. We administer the vaccination to people aged 16 and over.
