Measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) are highly contagious viral diseases. They can cause serious complications such as pneumonia or encephalitis. Rubella is particularly dangerous for pregnant women. The MMR vaccination is the most effective protection against these diseases and provides lifelong protection after two doses. The Federal Office of Public Health recommends the vaccination for all people born before 1964. We vaccinate people aged 16 and over with the Priorix or Priorix TETRA vaccine (the latter protects against varicella in addition to MMR). Pregnant women, people with immunodeficiency, people taking immunosuppressive medication and people who are allergic to any of the ingredients in the vaccine are excluded from vaccination. As we do not always have the vaccine in stock, we kindly ask you to make an appointment.

Cost per dose MMR: 58.15 CHF

Cost per dose MMRV: 113.95 CHF

Duration: 15 minutes

Information on coverage by health insurance

If you have a prescription for the vaccine, we can bill your mandatory health insurance provider for the vaccine. Alternatively, you can send the receipt to your health insurance provider yourself. In both cases, the co-payment for the vaccination service is CHF 25. The costs for the vaccination service are covered by some supplementary insurance policies.
