The flu vaccination offers an effective and inexpensive way to protect yourself and others from influenza and its complications. The Federal Office of Public Health recommends annual flu vaccinations for everyone aged 65 and over, as well as younger people with certain pre-existing conditions and risk factors. The optimal time for a flu vaccination is between mid-October and the start of the flu season. The vaccination is available to people aged 16 and over.

² If you belong to a risk group (see Swiss vaccination schedule) and have a prescription for the vaccination, we can bill the vaccine through your compulsory health insurance. In this case, the excess for the vaccination service is only CHF 25. These costs for the vaccination service are also covered by some supplementary insurance policies. When billing via compulsory health insurance, the costs for the vaccine may differ from the prices published here due to the tariffs.
