The flu vaccine offers an effective and inexpensive way to protect yourself and others from influenza and its complications. The Federal Office of Public Health recommends annual flu vaccinations for everyone aged 65 and over, as well as younger people with certain pre-existing conditions and risk factors. People aged 75 and over, as well as people aged 65 and over with certain risk factors, are recommended to receive the high-dose flu vaccine. The optimal time for a flu vaccination is between mid-October and the start of the flu season. We vaccinate people aged 16 and over. The flu vaccine can be combined with the COVID-19 vaccine.
